A traffic spike was detected near Mexicali on the morning of February 11, about 9 minutes before the Starlink 17-34 launch from Vandenberg. The timing rules out the launch as the cause. Mexicali is roughly 350 miles southeast of Vandenberg, at the extreme edge of sonic boom propagation range even under favorable conditions. The source of this detection remains unknown.
