A strong traffic spike was detected near Santa Maria on the morning of February 18. A SpaceX Starlink 17-25 launch from Vandenberg had been scheduled for that day but was scrubbed due to severe weather in central California (it eventually launched on February 21). With no launch that day, the source may have been military aircraft from Vandenberg SFB or Edwards AFB, both of which have produced sonic booms on the Central Coast in the past.
