SpaceX launched the EchoStar XXV direct-broadcast TV satellite for DISH Network from Cape Canaveral's SLC-40 at 12:19 AM EDT on March 10, after a one-hour delay. The 15,000-pound satellite, DISH's first new broadcast satellite in 16 years, was sent to geosynchronous transfer orbit. Booster B1085, on its 14th flight, landed on the drone ship "A Shortfall of Gravitas" in the Atlantic about 8.5 minutes after liftoff. A faint sonic boom signature was detected in web traffic from Hobe Sound on the Treasure Coast about 13 minutes after launch, consistent with the booster's supersonic re-entry over the Atlantic propagating inland.
