A traffic spike was detected in Lake County near Clear Lake on the morning of March 26. No SpaceX launch occurred at that hour; the Vandenberg Starlink 17-17 launch did not lift off until 4:03 PM PDT, more than five hours later. Northern California is within range of military aircraft from Travis AFB and Naval Air Station Lemoore, either of which could produce a supersonic boom during training. A meteor is also possible given the ongoing fireball surge.
